Clinical Nurse – Gastrointestinal Office Practice
Hours: Four Days x 10 hour days flexed Monday–Friday
 
Job Functions:
Work within a Nurse-Physician based Ambulatory Care Practice Model.
Provide clinical support to staff members, and assist with management of a caseload of ambulatory GI surgical oncology patients.
Perform outpatient assessment and offer patient and family education.
Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care throughout various stages of treatment and follow-up.

Perform patient assessment, offer patient and family education and symptom management.

Participate in the implementation of clinical support programs to ensure optimal care throughout the healthcare continuum.
